Viridian's Organic Pine Bark Extract is derived from Scots Pine (Pinus Sylvestris) grown in the forests of Finnish Lapland. Young bark from the inner and outer layers of the Pinus sylvestris tree produce a potent extract of at least a 400:1 ratio. The wild pine trees are certified organic by the Soil Association and allowed to grow naturally without the use of synthetic pesticides or other chemical sprays.

Pine bark extract is naturally rich in oligomeric proanthocyanadins (OPCs), flavonoids and low in tannins. Analysis of Viridian Pinus sylvestris showed the presence of 28 phenolic compounds.

The extract is produced via a novel cold pressing approach which ensures the highest quality and preservation of nutrients from the raw material. This method preserves high concentrations of low molecular weight oligomeric proanthocyanidins. Viridian Pine Bark Extract is standardized to 65-75% OPCs.

This product is kosher, free of gluten and GMO ingredients; and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
