This Lycopene product from Pure Bio is derived from tomato extract and is enhanced with a synergistic complex of botanicals and phytonutrient rich foods, designed to enhance absorption, bioavailability and function of the lycopene; whilst also supporting its stability.

Many of the synergistic plants are fresh freeze dried, which allows much of each plant’s enzymes to be actively retained.

Although lycopene is chemically a carotene, it has no vitamin A activity. Lycopene is not an essential nutrient for humans but is is commonly found in the diet, mainly from dishes prepared from tomatoes. When absorbed from the stomach, lycopene is transported in the blood by various lipoproteins and accumulates in the liver, adrenal glands and testes.

This product is free of gluten, soy and dairy; and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans
