Beta Carotene by Viridian is a mix of carotenoids including beta carotene derived from Dunaliella Salina algae. Beta carotene can be converted in the body safely into Vitamin A, as required by the body.
Beta carotene is a member of the carotenes family, abundant in orange-red plants such as carrots, pumpkin and sweet potatoes. Plant carotenoids are the major source of pro-vitamin A.
