GTF Chromium Complex

GTF or Glucose Tolerance Factor chromium was first isolated in brewer’s yeast. This trivalent form was found to consist of chromium, vitamin B3 (nicotinic acid) and three amino acids.
Chromium contributes to the maintenance of healthy blood glucose levels by enhancing the effects of insulin released from the pancreas. This in turn promotes the breakdown of fats, proteins and carbohydrates.
This product is free of gluten, soy and dairy; and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Special Note
Chromium supplementation may enhance the effects of drugs for diabetes and possibly lead to hypoglycaemia. People with diabetes taking these medications should supplement with chromium only under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
