Betaine HCl and pepsin are gastric-like components essential to the digestion of food and absorption of most nutrients. In particular, betaine HCl is necessary for adequate absorption of protein, calcium, vitamin B12 and iron.

Directions for use

If you are pregnant or lactating, have any health condition or are taking any medication, consult your healthcare practitioner before use.

Special Note

Discontinue immediately if a burning sensation occurs. Not recommended for people with ulcers.
Discuss with your healthcare practitioner if you are taking antacids as there is a minor rating of interaction.
